Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026. Estella Sparks Academy uses a small number of technologies to run this website and respect your privacy choices. This page explains what is active on the site and how you can change your choice.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies can store or access information in your browser. Some are essential to provide a service you request; others need your permission before they are used.

Our current use

We use an essential cookie to remember whether you have allowed optional Google Maps content. The public pages we reviewed did not set analytics or advertising cookies. We do not load Google Maps on the contact page until you allow it through the cookie box or select “Allow and load map”.

Preference cookie

Name: estella_cookie_choice. Purpose: remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional content. When set: after you make a choice. Duration: six months.

Google Maps

Purpose: displays our location on the contact page. Google may store or access its own cookies and receive your IP address. When used: only after you allow optional content or choose to load the map. Google controls its cookies and their duration may vary.

The preference cookie is needed to remember the choice you made. Google Maps is optional and remains blocked if you reject it. You can still open our address in Google Maps using the external link on the contact page; that takes you to Google’s own website.

External services

The site loads some visual assets and animation scripts from Cloudflare’s public content delivery network. Loading those resources sends a request, including technical information such as your IP address, to that provider. Our checks did not observe cookies from these resources. The contact page’s map is provided by Google only after your permission. See Google’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

How to change your choice

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to allow or reject optional content. Rejecting it stops this site from loading the Google Maps embed on later page views and removes it from the current page. You can also clear existing cookies in your browser settings. Your choice will be requested again when the preference cookie expires or if our use of cookies changes.
